#OOTD Inspiration | Wearable Active Style

by Holly Swasko in

Maybe you're hitting the gym followed by errands one day and maybe you're doing everything else BUT yoga the next (relatable right?). In any case, it's no doubt that a comfortable yet stylish and active throw-on ensemble can make for a perfect option for any casual day you might be having.

I've been there. You're in need of real, accessible outfits for the not-so-dressy days but at the same time, you can't compramise feeling your best. For a little inspiration, I put together a quick outfit that's both stylish and functional; super basic, no-fuss, and not many frills or embellishments. Just inspiration for looking put-together in simplicity so you can go accomplish whatever your busy (or extra-lazy!) day may hold!

  • Asymmetrical Cropped Hoodie - Charlotte Russe | The wrap detailing on the bottom of this sweatshirt makes the fit super flattering and adds a little extra detailing versus just a straight hem bottom. It's lightweight and pairs nicely with a higher waist bottom as they meet each other. (I do reccommend sizing up for a longer crop. I'm wearing a size large for reference).
  • Sweater-Cuffed Ankle Booties - Charlotte Russe | The thing I love about Charlotte Russe footwear is that they are always true to size. I've purchased at least 4 pairs from them in the past and they always fit. They're also great quality for the price; long-lasting and durable!
  • Zella "Live-In" High-Waisted Leggings - Nordstrom | The Zella "Live-In" slim fit leggings have been my go to for 3 years now and I just recently got around to trying the high-waisted version. I can't say enough about either styles, because they're just that good. The wide waistband is ultra-flattering and the curve hugging fit is unbeatable. (You can read the full rundown in this previous post!)

Looking good and more importantly feeling your best doesn't always have to involve countless accessories nor be made up of the most expensive of items. Sometimes it just takes a few favorite pieces and some confidence to own the day! What are some of your go-to's for stylish comfort?
