End of Winter Transitioning | Styling Florals Pt. 2

by Holly Swasko in

Craving some more spring florals? Then look no further. I'm back with the 2nd and final installment in this end of winter transitioning series! (Click here to see last week's!) Read on to get the details -

The key to smooth wardrobe transitioning is often about keeping things gradual. In this look, winter's rich hues and muted neutrals combine with spring's vivid tones to create a look that balances the vibes of both seasons.

Beginning with the darker, wintery aspects, I paired a black cami with black skinnies to ensure a solid base and to emphasize the star of the outfit - the statement cardigan. When working with bolder patterns, it's best to keep the rest of your look as basic as possible. This will assure balance and keep the business to a minimum. A touch of color can go a long way! (Tip: These longline cardigans from H&M are great for this time of year! Cozy yet far lighter than the thicker, chunkier knits.) I then finished it off with a pair of basic black ankle boots to dress it up - now the look is complete!

The seasons change and so does your wardrobe - get inspired, envision it, create it, and wear it with confidence! Until next time -
